Our blog for this week centers around being kind and humble to others. Being kind to yourself is also just as important.

We start with the definition of the word humble.

To mean…Humble: not arrogant or assertive : reflecting, expressing, or offered in a spirit of deference or submission: not costly or luxurious.

People who practice being humble, focus their energy on others. They have a real interest in others and their contributions to the world. It has been proven that humble people show more charitable kindness toward fellow human beings. Whether in business, family, or athletic team relationships, humility will provide inner growth and happiness for all.

The definition of Kind has similar traits as being humble.

To mean…Kind: is a behavior marked by ethical characteristics, a pleasant disposition, and concern for others. It is known as a virtue, and recognized as a value in many cultures.
