Our “GUEST BLOG” series continues and we excitedly introduce you to Ramona Manola.
A few self words about Ramona as we introduce you to her uplifting positive energy blog:
My background is in business management (finance), and I’m a mom to two handsome little boys. I am a business owner and Lifestyle Blogger which I enjoy immensely. In my free time I can be found in the gym or socializing with my girlfriends.
We further share her positive story…….
From a very young age my parents were diligent on instilling good morals and values, but more importantly taught us to be kind and to always be sympathetic to peoples’ struggles. Kindness can change someone’s day and perhaps their life. I really loved and appreciated the fact that I never heard my mother gossip about others and that example always stuck with me. I grew up believing that I can have much more impact on someone’s life by building them up rather than tearing them down. I was taught to be kind, positive and always lend a helping hand because we never know the struggles that people are going through.
I try to live like this every single day while teaching my sons to do the same. I believe that positive energy elevates every aspect of my life and because of that I am drawn to like-minded individuals. I strongly believe that people want to be around uplifting individuals and we can all agree that a positive attitude is infections and refreshing. I never want to be that person that is quick to criticize and point the finger because negative people don’t make change, people with good vibes do.
Positive thinking plays a very important role in my work and personal life. That’s not to say that I don’t have days that I struggle to be the best version of myself for myself, my children and others. Though I often make mistakes I have had to remember to reflect on the things that I have been doing right and then change the things that need a little work. I really had to learn to forgive myself for mistakes real or imagined, and then begin to love myself.
When I am positive, my creativity flows and I have more energy to accomplish things, which in turn brings a happy spirit rather than the negativity I feel about myself when I procrastinate. When I live this way my kids are much happier, more social and inclined to share their daily happenings with me because they can feel the positive energy and space for them to be totally open with their feelings. As a Mother there is nothing as wonderful as having your children feel comfortable enough to do this, which is a privilege that I don’t ever want to take for granted.
As moms, our first and foremost responsibility is to raise our children to be confident, kind and positive because it is up to us as parents to give them the life skills that will allow them on their own to find and attract healthy love and joy. The words we choose to speak to them become their inner voice.
As women, our aim should be to support one another by building each other up, by speaking kind words combined with a listening ear. Women can sometimes be critical of other females but we each have opportunities to be powerful influences in helping each other.
Have you ever found yourself talking to someone where they’ve made one positive statement that stuck with you and in that very moment you’ve decided to make a change? We can be that person to help someone else have an “Aha” moment which can be the very thing they needed to help them turn their life around.
Personally I have been blessed to have friends in my life that push me to be better, to recognize my worth and guide me to accomplish my goals. I cherish them immensely. Conversely we have to make sure that we do not choose close friends that are critical and speak negatively about others because that will affect our positive energy. Even if you have been friends for years, if you feel that you really deserve positivity in your life, you have to strip off any forms of negativity that continue to drain your energy. Or at the minimum, you have to limit the amount of interactions with people and situations that are bad for your well being.
I firmly believe that we all have the ability to be the best version of ourselves if we operate from a place of love, kindness and forgiveness. Humans of like mind are naturally attracted to each other so we really need to strive to give off positive energy and then we will attract the quality people that we deserve to have in our life.
So to sum it all up, if you want to have a lasting positive life you have to learn to love yourself even if it’s hard at first, become a good example of positivity to your children, look for ways to help others and then surround yourself with people that are likeminded.
And remember:
“In a world where you can be anything, be kind”
